A ring of trees with doors lights up one by one round the house as Jack passes: a heart, an egg, a shamrock, a turkey, a firework, a jack-o'-lantern. Then the Christmas tree on the porch opens.

NM01The Night of NightsIntro1:11Halloween Town turns up a run at a time and sings its march, a note each. A scarecrow rides in and bursts into flame, and out of the fountain rises Jack Skellington, the Pumpkin King.NM02The King's LamentIntro0:58Jack slips away from the party and trudges out along the left wing, Zero behind him, to climb Spiral Hill under the moon. At his saddest note the hill unrolls flat.NM03Fetch in the GraveyardIntro0:56Zero rises from his grave on the right wing, nose aglow, and races round the house after the bones Jack throws. She climbs down from his tower, falls to pieces along the right wing, stitches herself whole and slips off with a basket for Jack.NM09Lock, Shock and BarrelIntro0:55Jack sends for Lock, Shock and Barrel. In their walking bathtub they each scheme bigger: red cage bars slam down, giant jaws snap shut, Oogie Boogie rises over the porch.NM10The WorkshopIntro0:59A conveyor belt of toys runs the whole roof while hammers spark at every corner. The toys come out wrong: a shrinking head, a snake that swallows a tree, a duck with fangs. Jack's red suit is sewn and the skeleton reindeer get their harnesses.NM11Sally's VisionIntro1:03Alone under the stars, Sally's flower becomes a little Christmas tree over the porch and bursts into flames. Then she sings her worry to the night, the house a slow, starry sky full of embers.NM12Bring Him BackIntro1:05Lock, Shock and Barrel go through the holiday doors and come back with a pastel bunny, so Jack sends them again: watch the right wing turn to snow, the sack come down over Santa, and the walking bathtub haul him home.NM13Oogie Boogie's LairIntro0:58Oogie Boogie, a huge burlap sack, runs a blacklit gambling den and sings a swing number at Santa: watch the roulette wheel spin on the left wing, dice tumble on the right, and the fire pit flare under Santa on the porch.NM14Fog on Christmas EveIntro0:48The town gathers to see Jack's coffin sleigh off, but a fog swallows the house. Watch for Zero's glowing nose: it leads the team round the porch and away down the side, tearing a clear lane through the fog.NM15Special DeliveryIntro0:49Jack drops presents down four chimneys along the roof, and each one pops open and the house screams. Then the sirens start and searchlights sweep the house, while he waves, delighted.NM16Shot DownIntro0:51Jack's coffin sleigh delivers along the wings until searchlights rake the roof and flak bursts chase it back and forth. It is hit, bursts into flame and falls onto the porch, and Halloween Town goes grey with mourning.NM17The King in the CemeteryIntro0:53Jack lies in a stone angel's arms on the porch while the house stays cold and grey. Then a spark catches, fire climbs out along the roof, and he races off with the whole house blazing orange.NM18The UnravelingIntro1:07In Oogie Boogie's glowing lair Sally is caught freeing Santa, dice tumble down the wing and the fire pit flares. Jack bursts in, dodges blades and a slot machine of skulls, and pulls the thread that pours Oogie Boogie out as a swarm of bugs across the whole roof.NM19Snow on Halloween TownIntro1:02Jack says sorry and Santa streaks off over the house in his red and gold sleigh. Behind him, for the first time, snow falls on Halloween Town: snowballs fly, a sled races down a wing, and the violet and orange turns white.NM20Meant to BeIntro0:57Under a full moon over the porch Sally waits, and Jack walks in along the right wing. Their themes and colours intertwine until they meet, Zero becomes a star over the porch, and the whole house blazes with every colour of the story.NM21Spiral HillAll night2:30A full moon over the porch and the curl of Spiral Hill on the left wing. Now and then Jack walks in along the right wing and stands under the moon a while.NM22ZeroAll night2:30Pale wisps drift along the roof while Zero plays among them: a glowing orange nose that wanders, darts and doubles back, with a faint white tail behind it.NM23IntermissionIntermission5:00Halloween Town glows purple-blue with flickering orange windows and fills with ghoulish green toward the porch while Zero drifts ahead of it and a bell tolls the minutes. When it is full, the town's march plays and Jack rises over the porch.
